Mady Keita's music is a mixture of 70’s guitars and 80’s synths blending the electric tones of rock n pop. His distinctive voice, which many say combines the styles of Seal and Lenny Kravitz results in a unique and contemporary sound .
Mady Keita writes, composes, arranges and records all his songs. His first opus “Dependence” shows his remarkable skills in this particular type of music. Although “Dependence” is written entirely in English, the style is unmistakably Mady Keita. The titles are varied and take the listeners to different and colorful worlds
Over 84 radio stations and 130 playlists are broadcasting “Dependence” in France; very encouraging feedback for his first album.

*Biography
Born in 'Le Mans' France, to a Malian father and French mother, Mady Keita mixes these two origins to create an original sound. His musical culture was built from a childhood tuned into Led Zeppelin, The Clash, David Bowie, Placebo, Oasis and other rock stars of the time, with a dash of reggae grooves from the great Bob Marley.
His interest in music started at the age of seven. After graduating from school, he entered a theatre company where he performed for two years in the 'Comedia Del Arte'.
Before beginning his solo career, he was discovered at the “Printemps de Bourges” in a duo act, WabyMad launching his career in France and abroad.
Having explored various styles such as soul, reggae, Afro jazz, funk and even gospel, he now returns to his first love; 'rock', with his first solo album "Dependence" which combines the electric tones of modern rock and pop, skillfully mixing 70's guitars with the synths of 80s while managing to produce a contemporary musical style!
